This park in Heywood is a gem, offering an array of amenities for all ages. It has an abundance of shade and green grass, perfect for picnics, and no fewer than eleven picnic tables, most under shelter. The park also boasts free electric BBQs, well-maintained toilets, and plenty of rubbish bins. For the younger visitors, there's a variety of play options, including swings and a wheelchair-friendly playground. There's also a small walking track running along the creek for the more active visitors. Wildlife is another draw, with sightings of Gang Gang Cockatoos and even koalas in the trees. It's a peaceful, clean, and wheelchair-accessible spot, ideal for family outings and overnight stays in a caravan.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
